5 Best Features in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus

To kick off the unveiling of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, we’ve gathered a list jam-packed with the 5 coolest features included in the new smartphones. The Galaxy Note 10 is not just a new smartphone, it’s a gaming console, a film studio, a computer, comes with your own personal magic wand – and its all in one device!

    1. Smaller – and bigger
The Samsung Galaxy Note has always been identified as a “big phone.” Users are pleased to see a smaller, hand-friendly version of the Note 10. It is about 0.2-inches smaller than the Note 9 and the Note 10+. 0.2-inches may not sound like much, however it makes a significant difference when it comes to fitting in your hand. On the contrary, this is the first time Samsung has rolled out two versions of the Note to include the Note+ for those who prefer a bigger smartphone.

    2. 3D Scanning
While Samsung is not the first to roll out 3D scanning, they came up with a cool application for 3D scanning with Augmented Reality. Consumers can now 3D scan objects and drop them into their photos and videos. It doesn’t stop there; consumers can even animate them using motion capture. This will be huge for consumers that put out content on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

    3. Super-fast charging
Long gone are the days where your smartphone battery dies a few hours after charging. With a quick 30-minute charging session, the Galaxy Note 10 will hold battery juice all day long. Samsung did this by including a 45W charger to amp up the wattage in comparison to competitors that have a 30W charger.

    4. S-pen
Say goodbye to selfie sticks and self-timers because the Galaxy Note 10 comes with an S-pen that will allow consumers to take remote photos. It gets even better, with an accelerometer and gyroscope in the S-pen, consumers have their own personal magic wand with gesture-recognition technology.

    5. 5G
The future is here – 5G is the latest version of cellular networks. This is a once in a decade upgrade to the way consumers can wirelessly deliver data, making the Galaxy Note 10 one of the fastest and most powerful smartphones in the market. Just how much faster? In this new era, the Galaxy Note 10 with 5G will average out to be roughly 20 times faster than the traditional 4G network you are currently using.

  • Pulling a Six Figure Income Without a College Degree Could be Easier Than You Think

Pulling a Six Figure Income Without a College Degree Could be Easier Than You Think

No one will argue that a college degree can be worth its weight in gold, however unlike in the past, one can still get a lucrative six-figure job without the degree. It remains true that with associate’s or bachelor’s degrees employees do earn more on average but you can even get a relatively high-paying career without a college education.

The focus has always been on getting students to focus on higher education; today we see a shift and demand back to skilled labors. Statistics show America’s labor shortage is approaching epidemic proportions. These statistics mean employers will end up paying more for the right employees. We are seeing nearly 80 percent of construction businesses are having a hard time finding qualified, skilled labors.

Skilled labors on average earn 62,000 per year, but the potential is much higher in a few key areas. These are the skills that never go outdated and are always in need, learning one of these means you will still have a trade to fall back on. Five skilled labor professions do have a higher earning potential. These trades are plumbers, electricians, brick masons, painters,  and truck drivers.

    Brickmason

Brickmasons and block layers. Currently, the top 10% of bricklayers and block masons are making over $100,000 per year.  10%  means 1 in 10 at this skilled labor position is in six figures. The average starting pay is significantly lower, and the annual average wage of Brickmasons and Blockmasons is $53440.

No education is needed to lay and bind building materials,  brick, structural tile, concrete block, cinder block, glass block, and terra-cotta block. Just a good work ethic and a strong back, you could be in that 10%.

    Electrician

We know power is crucial these days and electricians install the electrical systems that power our homes and businesses. Electricians also handle all the necessary maintenance, repairs, and power upgrades that these buildings require. The skill to wire a building for electricity is a valuable commodity in 2019.

Electricians earned an average of $62,910 per year. This number is according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The average hourly pay for an electrician was estimated to be $31.68. The top 25 percent earn more a lot more, 1 in 4 electricians is pulling in over 100k.

    Painter

Construction companies rely on painters to put the finishing touches on new homes and building. Interior painters are also in demand to paint houses, apartments and office building interiors as well as complete remodeling projects for existing structures. The Department of Labor says median annual income for painters is just $37,960 a year.

For the 42% of painters that are self-employed, the pay is much higher. Over half of them make over 100k, and the expected demand growth for construction painters is 16%.

    Plumber

Good plumbing is the cornerstone of the infrastructure and sanitation of civilization as we know it today. The plumbing profession has come along way since ancient civilizations first needed to provide clean potable water for a large number of people. From unclogging a toilet to designing complex pipe plans for new construction projects plumber are essential in all forms of construction today.

To be a master plumber, you will have to a plumbing apprenticeship program through a union or trade school, but the income is worth it. A master plumber makes on average 79,000 per year, and the top 14% are over that 100k mark.

    Truck Driver

Few other careers offer such a fast track into financial viability coupled with long-term job security and satisfaction as a truck driver. Throw on your trucker hat, make a thermos of coffee and enjoy the road. Truck drivers are on the high average of non-college educated employees. Over the road truck drivers are in increasing demand with half the current OTR driver set to retire in the next ten years.

The national average for truck drivers is $63,464. OTR team drivers are averaging $71,065, while the top companies like; Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon are paying their drivers over 100k. Over half of the self-employed drivers with their truck are bring home over 100k profits.

    The Final Thought

This cost of higher education is growing by the day, and with less guaranteed upon completion of your degree. Skilled trade laborers will always have a demand and an option for work.  With far less money spent on schooling, you would be surprised to learn that being a tradesman could get into that six-figure salary bracket in much less time than just about any other field of work.

The potential is still higher than only six figures; there are plumbers, electricians and brick masons making a million bucks a year.

  • Which Dog Breed is Right for Your Family

Which Dog Breed is Right for Your Family

The history and evolution of the magical bond between man and dog is truly a divine miracle of unfathomable symbiotic benefit. A guardian whose senses were keener than those of a genius detective, a protector with speed and endurance beyond that of an Olympian, and a friend whose courage rivaled the bravest warrior? It all tributes back to one ancient wolf and his evolved lack of fear, who emerged among the monsters of the forest to a superhero sidekick. But this relationship was just forming, and it doesn’t stop at this first miracle.

As time passes, our wolves evolved with our society, adapting much more rapidly with elegant design and functionality. Through genetic targeting and hybrid breeding, man and dog have become an inseparable cosmic pair unmatched anywhere in the known universe.  Right about now you are starting to think; my family needs a dog, my children need a dog and I need a dog. But which breed is right for you and yours? While all dogs make for best friends, some are, um, more lovably clueless than others. But when it comes to working intelligence (i.e. following commands), certain types stand out from the pack.

In this article, I’m going to talk about five specially evolved breeds of amazing dogs. While all breeds are a magnificent gift to man, these five are beyond special. While we don’t utilize our dogs like we once did for predator alerting and hunting in the past, these five dog breeds bring something more.

    The Golden Retriever

The Golden Retriever is the classic family companion. They are obedient, playful, intelligent, well-mannered, great with kids, and kindly to strangers. Highly reliable bird dogs, their keen sense of smell and desire to work alongside people makes them sought-after narcotics sniffers. Golden Retrievers need people and are best suited for large, active families. Trainability is through the roof with a golden retriever, as they can be taught to accomplish almost anything that can be done without an opposable appendage.

Golden Retrievers are a breeze to train. They are people-pleasers and will do anything for a bit of praise and some food. This makes them an excellent choice for first-time dog owners. Goldens should always be treated with a gentle hand, as they are sensitive creatures who don’t respond well to harsh tones and discipline.

Their trainability has made them a number once choice for service and therapy dogs, and in recent years they have been a favorite choice of police forces, who utilize them as drug and bomb sniffers and in search and rescue teams. The Golden Retriever’s kindly expression says it all. This is one of the finest family dogs in the world; cheerful, demonstrative, trustworthy with everyone, and forgiving of any mistakes made by inexperienced owners.

    The Border Collie

The valedictorians of the dog world, these herders took a prominent spot in our rankings. Most can learn a new command in under five seconds and follow it at least 95% of the time. Astounding.

The Border Collie dog breed was developed to gather and control sheep in the hilly border country between Scotland and England. He is known for his intense stare, or “eye,” with which he controls his flock. He’s a dog with unlimited energy, stamina, and working drive, all of which make him a premier herding dog breed.  He’s still used today to herd sheep on farms and ranches around the world. The highly trainable and intelligent Border Collie also excels in various canine sports, including obedience, flyball, agility, tracking and flying disc competitions.

Border collies are an extremely energetic dog breed and must have the opportunity to get lots of exercise. They love to run. A bright, clever breed, the border collie is best suited for country living. If confined without activity, this breed will quickly become unhappy and destructive. Because of their herding instincts, they are protective of their family and territory and make excellent watchdogs. They will look out for the family kids. Although they get along well with children and other pets they are raised with, they can be reserved and sometimes snappish with strangers, nipping at the heels the same way they would nip at sheep if herding.

    German Shepherd

German Shepherds happily serve as police dogs, seeing eye dogs, medical assistance dogs and therapy dogs, so it’s no surprise that consistent obedience comes standard with this breed. The German Shepherd Dog is perhaps best known as the strong, courageous and obedient guide dog breeds for the disabled and service dog of police K-9 and search-and-rescue units, valued for its tenacity, intelligence, loyalty and focus. GSDs are often sought as guard dogs and protectors.

German Shepherds can be trained to do almost any task set before them. They are smart, bold, alert, and single-minded when necessary and eager to please their people. They are powerful but still agile. While highly trainable, they should be socialized and trained young in life. This requires a firm, consistent and kind handler.

German Shepherds can be as energetic as they are large, although they should be of even disposition and unflappable, with a restrained, composed and confident temperament. They should be patient, attentive, faithful and determined. They can be bold but should not be unnecessarily aggressive. They do not require an enormous amount of daily exercise, but they certainly are not the ideal breed for apartment dwellers or people who live alone and work long hours. They tend to bond well with children and enjoy participating in family activities like hiking, swimming, picnicking, running and the like.

    Pembroke Welsh Corgi

If they’re good enough for royalty, they’re certainly bright enough for the rest of us. Unlike their Cardigan Welsh Corgi cousins, Pembrokes lack long tails, but they make up for it with a smart, even-keeled personality. Spirited and athletic, steady and dependable, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a true “big dog on short legs.”

Herding, obedience, agility, or chasing balls (with surprising speed) are enjoyable outlets for his enthusiasm and desire to work. Corgis are the smart dog breeds who need something to do.He is polite with guests, reserved with strangers, and makes an alert watchdog. Most Pembroke Welsh Corgis are fine with other family pets. But they’re often territorial with strange dogs and cats – as a working farm dog, one of his responsibilities was to chase strays away from his own farm. Corgis are wonderful with livestock, including horses.

    Rhodesian Ridgebacks

This handsome dog breed was created in Africa to be a versatile hunter and home guardian. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is an all-purpose “Renaissance hound” dog breed whose hallmark is the ridge, or stripe of backward-growing hair, on his back. Though the breed became famous in its native Africa for its skill at tracking and baying, today Ridgebacks are cherished family dogs whose owners must be prepared to deal with their independence and strong prey drive.

Ridgebacks are fast and powerful athletes who can weigh between 70 and 85 pounds, and oftentimes more. They come in only one color , wheaten, which spans every shade seen in a wheat field, from pale flaxen to the burnished red of a maturing crop. Ridgebacks also have two nose colors; black and the less commonly seen brown.

Rhodesian ridgebacks are extremely tolerant dogs and excellent companions. Ridgebacks are gregarious animals, enjoying the company of other dogs; but families should be cautious about having several male dogs in one household, because this can lead to dominance struggles. These dogs can be good with cats if brought up with them.

  • Small Business Outlook: Top POS Systems of 2019

Small Business Outlook: Top POS Systems of 2019

As a small business owner, you’re probably spending a lot of your time, effort, and attention on the process that leads up to the point when a customer makes a purchase. But what about that very moment? The exact point of sale?

A POS is a point of sale system that handles all of the transactions you make throughout your business day. It is where your employee will physically run the payment from a customer for goods or services rendered by your company. The POS is both the hardware and the software that keeps the heart of your company pumping. But too many small businesses neglect this all-important aspect of their business health and wellness, and that leads to one thing: cardiac arrest.

The heart of any business is its sales structure. After all, the best product, service, marketing team, and PR staff won’t do you an ounce of good if you aren’t making sales. Which is why finding the right POS system for your business is so important. Make sure you know everything there is to know about the best POS systems, their benefits for SMBs, and how to choose the right one for you.

There are many different hardware components that you can choose for your POS. Some of them include:

    • Cash register
    • Barcode scanner
    • Receipt printer
    • Credit card reader
    • Register screen

With literally hundreds of retail, small business, bar, and restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems on the market, buying a new POS solution can become overwhelming rather quickly. Let’s look at the top 5 POS systems of 2019 for your small business.

    The Square POS System

The first top POS system for small business is the Square POS system, in all of its different shapes and sizes. Square point of sale is a cloud-based POS solution for iOS, Android devices and square’s own point of sale hardware. This software allows you to manage customers, transactions, inventory, invoicing, and payments. It also has additional tools for managing customer loyalty, employees, marketing, and payroll.

Square POS also offers chip, magstripe, and contactless card readers for accepting payment via debit, credit cards, Google pay, and Apple pay. Square offers a wide variety of iterations of their POS system, all of which will be remarkably intuitive and fairly priced.

The Square Register is the most souped-up version of the point of sale software that Square offers. For a cool $999, the Register will allow your business to accept all types of payments, no additional iPad necessary. Plus, the Register comes with two interfaces—one for you and your employees, and the other for your customers—in order to make the checkout experience as smooth as possible.

    Shopify

Whether the order is placed through in-store, online or from a mobile device, all the orders are automatically synced through Shopify. It is also easy to monitor cash register adjustment and staff changes.

Shopify reports will let you easily track customers, payments, and sales made both online and in-store. Shopify comes with robust hardware compatibility and freedom to use with any computer, iPad or Mac. You can custom design each register to suit its counter space and layout.

    Netsuite

Netsuite is the top POS system with mobile-ready technology enables you to deliver a superior in-store experience, satisfies omnichannel users and builds customer loyalty. It is an end-to-end unified system that provides real-time insights into customers, sales, inventory, financials, and more.

This helps to grow sales as it empowers sales associates with tools and information to build stronger customer relationships. The cross-channel functionality options are also available which can get used according to your requirement.

    Bindo

Bindo is cloud-based and was designed specifically to work with iPad, so it’s mobile, but it also comes with an iPad stand if you want to keep the system in one place. You get a barcode scanner, a cash drawer, credit card reader, as well as a receipt printer and it integrates with QuickBooks. A product database manages inventory for you. Bindo can also handle e-commerce and mobile payments.

One of Bindo’s neatest features is the way it handles employee time-keeping, photographing your workers as they punch in and out. You get free, unlimited, 24-hour customer support, although only via e-mail and in-app chats, and a built-in loyalty program.

    Clover

Clover is ideal for just about any type of business, but it’s especially suited to larger businesses with more complex needs. You can start with a basic package, then build onto it through Clover’s own API to achieve the exact system your business requires. Ultimately, it will do everything from the basics to scheduling employee hours and maintaining and overseeing your customer loyalty program.

The Clover System offers multiple POS systems. Clover Mini, introduced in 2015, might be compact, but it manages every sort of payment, as does Clover Mobile for more on-the-go business types. Clover Station is a cash drawer system and offers multiple integrations. One drawback is that you’re limited to using only the merchant processing company that you purchase the product from.

  • Top 5 Successful Franchises You Should Invest In

Top 5 Successful Franchises You Should Invest In

A new year is coming, and new years bring along with them new ideas, inspiration and opportunities. If you’re still waiting for your next great idea, then you should consider a franchise investment. That’s right, 2019 may be your year to open your very own franchise and become your own boss.

Many people have dreams of becoming a business owner, but aren’t sure where to begin. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit but don’t necessarily want to start a business from the ground up, looking into low cost franchises is an opportunity worth considering. Opening a franchise can be one of the most important decisions in any entrepreneur’s life.

While its important to keep in mind that starting any business comes with its own inherent risks, these franchises can help you with training and more to give you the best shot at making your investment a successful one. Lets look at the Top 5 franchises to own.

    McDonalds

Ray Kroc, a milkshake mixer salesman, ventured to California in 1954 to visit McDonald’s hamburger stand, where he heard they were running eight mixers at once. Kroc was impressed by how rapidly customers were served.  Seeing an opportunity to sell many more milkshake machines, he encouraged brothers Dick and Mac McDonald to open a chain of their restaurants. Kroc became their business partner and opened the first McDonald’s in Des Plaines, Illinois in 1955. McDonald’s and the Golden Arches have since become an internationally-recognized symbol of quick-service hamburgers, fries, chicken, breakfast items, salads and milkshakes.

Ray laid a foundation for you to own your very own franchise. It is the fruit of his labor that makes  and keeps McDonalds at the top of the list of franchises to own. Though franchise fees are high, brand outlook and recognizability is also high – which is a key component in the pros of opening a franchise business. As one of the most successful models, this franchise has its business model and practices down to a science making it a pretty sure thing for profitability and growth for investors.

    Menchie Yogurt

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt may be the right franchise for you. Menchie’s is a self-serve frozen yogurt franchise that serves a wonderful frozen yogurt dessert. The success of their business model is evidenced by it’s tremendous growth around the world and numerous franchise industry awards. Menchie’s philosophy is built around customer satisfaction.

The frozen yogurt company prides itself on focusing on making the customer experience great. I also have to mention the frozen yogurt industry is thriving. It is a $8 billion industry in the United States currently and it’s projected to continue growing. This is what helped Mechie to crack our Top 5 franchises to own and land at the 2 spot.

    The UPS Store

The UPS Store provides packaging, shipping, copying, printing, and mailing services across the globe. Founded in 1980, Mail Boxes, Etc. created a brand and system that became known worldwide as the leading alternative to using the United States Postal Service, but also as a leader in shipping, printing, and business service centers.

This franchising option is a bit more affordable for investors with a lower initial investment, net-worth requirement, and liquid cash requirement. The UPS Store franchising network utilizes one of the most innovative and highly developed digital information systems in the world.

This technology enables UPS franchisees to deliver more than 13 million documents, pieces of mail, and packages every day. With a positive brand outlook, low fees and a consistent business model make this a great opportunity for investors and number 3 on our list of Top 5 franchises to own.

    i9 Sports

i9 Sports is a youth sport league offering flag football, soccer, basketball and other organized sporting activities. It is slowly replacing the local sport leagues organized by other organizations. One of the best things about i9 is safety, especially when it comes to football. Many parents will not allow their kids to play football due to the recent media attention given to concussions.

i9 does not play contact football (only flag football), allowing kids to learn the game without the high risk of injury from contact. This opens a world of opportunity for the franchise to pick up kids who otherwise would not be allowed by their parents to play the sport.

i9 has an advantage as it does not rely on public funding. While sport programs are getting cut due to school and other public funding, i9 relies on parents who want an alternative. So far, more than 10,000 kids have taken that alternative.

    The Nutty Scientist

Restaurants can be challenging and carry a high rate of failure within the first five years, so considering a franchise that isn’t a restaurant can be a smart move. The Nutty Scientist is a great franchise for those who want to avoid restaurant franchises.  The Nutty Scientist lets you franchise your own learning center instead. They are the world’s leading provider of interactive science programs for children. Nutty Scientists offers the most complete proposal on the market.

Based on real and hands-on contact,  teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Environment, Health & Prevention, and Robotics in a different, entertaining and fun way, The Nutty Scientist is a draw for both parents and children alike. With low investment and low fixed overhead, plus high margins that can go up to 80%, you can make year-round income with in-school workshops, after-schools, events, awareness campaigns, camps and birthday parties.

    Samsung Note 9

This is the big dog on the Android block. Despite its troubled past the Note 9 in new, improved and the Top Android Device for 2018.The  Galaxy Note 9 truly puts powerful technology in the hands of pioneers who demand more. Innovative features and design make it the only phone to keep up with the next generation of achievers. The Note 9 isn’t a radical design departure from its predecessor. It’s still a glass-and-metal sandwich, and the only significant aesthetic changes are new colors, slightly chamfered edges, and a better location for the fingerprint sensor below the cameras.

How do you make it to the top of the Android list? If you are Samsung you start with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. This is key, as any modern woman will tell you bigger is better. You take that screen and power it with the latest Snapdragon Processor. Snapdragon 845. It needs to have RAM, 6gb will do.. 8 it better. That is a lot of power in your pocket,4,000 mAh battery will be needed. That’s gonna get hot… Add in a  Water/Carbon Fiber cooling system. Bind this all with the latest Android software Google has to offer and you have the Best Android enabled mobile device…. The Note 9.

    Google Pixel 3

The Pixel 3 takes brilliant photos, even in super low-light, with its single rear lens and it can capture wider selfie photos. It’s water resistant, has wireless charging and it can screen unwanted calls. I was most impressed by the vibrant and sharp photos it took with a single rear camera. Then it has Night Sight, it can brighten up even the darkest of scenes without a flash so well I cant comprehend its tech, or maybe it’s magic?

The design of the Pixel 3 is delightful, with Google’s signature two-tone design has been retained on the back, with a small glossy section at the top which houses the camera module, and a matte section for the bottom 80 percent which has the centrally-placed fingerprint sensor near the top. It is lovely. Google switched to OLED screens in their flagships now and we’re glad they have. The higher contrast ratio really tells, especially in low light and dark conditions where true black stands out and back lights cause problems. With a 2,260 x 1,080-pixel resolution, the Pixel 3 display is stunning and gorgeous.

What I like most about the Pixel 3 and the reason it hit the 2 spot in all of the Android universe  in the Top Android Device for 2018 is the device hardware and software are made by one company. This phone is designed inside and out to be fully compatible. Then is the Pixel 3’s groundbreaking artificial intelligence (A.I.) inside. The Pixel 3 can do things no other phone can. A lot of these A.I. smarts reside in the camera, which we’ll get to soon, but Google Assistant is growing more useful by the day and there are other genuinely helpful features in here that add up to a great experience.

    Samsung S9

The Galaxy S9 once again proves Samsung’s formula of a gorgeous 5.8-inch screen, sexy dual-curved design and terrific camera for well-lit shots can’t go wrong. Whiplash-fast speeds, wireless charging and water resistance complete the package. And it looks stunning in purple and blue.

Content with the design and appearance of the S8, Samsung focused its efforts on small, mostly unseen changes that result in a better overall experience, but not a dramatically different one. That isn’t to say the Galaxy S9 and the larger S9 Plus are bad phones; the S8 was an excellent phone last year, and the S9 builds on that.

So, what is actually new? Two things: the fingerprint scanner has been moved to a much easier-to-reach spot on the back of the phone, and the single speaker has been upgraded to a stereo pair. In an obvious attempt to replicate Apple’s Face ID system, Samsung has introduced a new combination face-scanning / iris-scanning feature that can be used to unlock the phone instead of the fingerprint scanner.

The rest of the S9’s improvements are under the hood: it’s running Qualcomm’s latest processor (in North America; other markets will see Samsung’s own Exynos processor), 4GB (S9) or 6GB (S9 Plus) of RAM, and a new LTE modem that supports even faster gigabit speeds. Those are specs we’re likely to see in almost every Android flagship this year, but Samsung is the first with them out of the gate. The design, display, and specs of the S9 bring zero surprises, but they are the things that influence your day-to-day use of the phone more than anything else. For the most part, Samsung nailed the basics and is the 3rd best Android in 2018.

    LG G6

If you long for an Android flagship phone but can’t stomach the high prices of the Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy S9, the LG G6 will prove an attractive alternative. Though the G6 uses a slightly older chipset – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 rather than the Snapdragon 835 used in the S8 and Pixel 2 – few notice a performance difference in practice. The G6 also ditches the unusual modular design of last year’s LG G5 in favor of a more traditional unibody design with a non-removable battery and an elongated screen. Though some may regret the fixed battery of the G6, its battery life is superior to that of the G5.

Like most current flagship phones, the LG G6 features dual rear-camera lenses. Unlike with some other phones, though, the purpose of the dual lenses isn’t to enable the G6 to capture portraits with blurred backgrounds. Instead, the lenses enable you to switch between standard and wide-angle shots. The G6 also includes a built-in app that enhances the process of capturing square photos for Instagram. Thanks to the dimensions of the G6’s display, you can view your most recent square photo on one half of the screen while viewing a live feed from the camera lens on the other half of the screen.

Though the LG G6 may lack the latest and greatest hardware – not to mention the eye-catching designs – of the Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy S9, it still manages to give you a true flagship phone experience at a significantly lower cost and ranks as the 4th best Android phone in 2018.

    Red Hydrogen One

A lot of you have not heard of this one. You should. The Hydrogen one  Holographic 4-View (H4V) capture, your content isn’t just seen. It’s felt. From an exotic sports car’s shine to the last rays of the sun at dusk, H4V capture produces beautiful lighting effects with dynamic textures, glitters and light shafts. Welcome to the end of flat content. It is true innovation in the realm of mobile devices, the kind of innovation you can only get with a top Android device.

he Hydrogen One is defined by its ambition. It’s meant to revolutionize not just phones, but all of media with a “holographic” display and a camera system capable of recording into this 3D format. The phone is also expandable, and RED — one of the most esteemed names in digital imaging — plans to release an add-on camera sensor that’s capable of transforming the phone into a full-on cinema camera.  Imagine a full cinematic camera in the pockets of all our next great film makers and artist. This may not be the commercial success it should be, but time will yield this to be the beginning of a revolution and for that alone it gets the 5 spot for the Top Android Device for 2018.

5 Great Ways to Make Iced Coffee at Home.

When my sister introduced me to iced coffee, I didn’t think I’d like it. Not only did I like it, I decided I could learn how to make iced coffee on my own. I became obsessed with iced coffee. You need to get your cold caffeine on. Now the fix just got so much better. Let me tell you 5 great ways to make Iced coffee at home.

Iced coffee is my life. When I wake up, often around the time party animals on the west coast are just heading home, I start each day not with a cup of freshly brewed hot java, but with a tall, blessed glass of creamy iced coffee in a glass. I’ve been an iced coffee junkie for years and years. To say I couldn’t live without it is an understatement. It gives me the tools I need to cope.

Iced coffee is a complicated thing, and there are many different approaches. One would think that one could merely pour brewed coffee into a glass full of ice and call it a day…but I find that method extremely flawed. First, no matter how packed with ice the glass is, once the hot coffee hits, some of the ice is bound to melt. This has two disastrous results. First the The overall strength of the coffee flavor is diluted. Then iced coffee isn’t as cold as it could (or should) be. The finished glass of iced coffee should be frigid, not sorta cold with half-melted ice cubes floating around. Do I have a Solution, yes cold brew.

    Cold Brew

First, find a bag of the strongest coffee you can find. I like to use Cafe Busto’s dark espresso. Pour in the coffee to a large container, 3 gallons at least. Add 2 gallons of cold water. cold water… Mix and cover the container. Let this sit in your fridge for 12-24 hours. When the time has passed, grab a separate container and place a fine mesh strainer over the top.Place a couple of layers of cheesecloth inside the strainer. Slowly pour the steeped coffee through the strainer. Be patient it will take a little while to seep through. Use a spoon to gently press/force the last of the liquid through. Transfer your coffee gold to a new container. This amount of coffee concentrate lasts me a good three weeks to a month if kept tightly covered in the fridge.

    Flash Brew

Not your cup of coffee? we you are wrong, but try the Flash Brew method and see if that is more your unrefined style. People who love the nuances of hot coffee and those who drink their coffee black will gravitate towards flash brew for keeping the same profile of a hot cup of coffee while adding that extra oomph. Here are a few tricks to getting the perfect iced coffee, flash brew-style:

Brew your hot, fresh coffee. Make it stronger than usual; you’ll be diluting it with ice. The strength of the brew depends on how many ice cubes you plan to use.
If you want sugar in your coffee, add it now as the granules tend to dissolve more easily in hot liquid.Transfer your freshly-brewed coffee into a carafe. Let the coffee cool to room temperature (approximately one hour), then move into the refrigerator for a further two hours to thoroughly chill.Fill a tall glass with the chilled coffee, add a few ice cubes plus milk or cream, if preferred. Stir well and serve.

    • Use a full-bodied coffee to avoid tartness
    • For an iced coffee with a sweet, creamy, and/or chocolate flavor profile, go with a roast from Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Honduras. Think cream soda on the rocks!
    • For a refreshing tea-like iced coffee with fruit notes go with an Ethiopian or Kenyan roast. The fruit flavors will pop on ice.

    Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Vietnamese Iced Coffee is a very strong coffee. This intensely brewed concentrate is creamy, rich, smooth in texture and has a bold flavor. Here is how to make Vietnamese iced coffee without using Vietnamese coffee filter. To make this coffee, any type of coffee grounds can be used. In Vietnam, the Cafe Du Monde French Roast Chicory is usually appreciated as the benchmark. But, as long as the coffee is light to medium coarse, it can be used in the preparation of this coffee. It is easy, Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the freshly brewed coffee in the glass.Pour 2 tbsp condensed milk on top and mix gently. Serve immediately.

Not Enough Time, Try Instant Iced Coffee

You know how you’ve always been told that instant coffee had to be made hot? Well it also makes iced coffee! Just mix cold water with instant coffee grounds, add some creamer, and stir. It can take a minute or two for the coffee to dissolve, but it does!

    Keitel Style

I hoped you picked up some good Iced coffee ideas and skills. Iced Coffee on a hot day can pick you up and set you free. Lets be honest though, There is only one way to drink coffee, Keitel style. Hot, lots a cream, lots a sugar.
