3. I Am Rich

No longer available on the app store, but remembered for its sheer absurdity, this app cost $1,000. And it displayed a simple message when purchased. “I am rich, I deserv it, I am good, healthy & successful.” Spelling mistake and all. The entire point was to simply show off that you could afford a literally useless piece of $1,000 software.
Somehow eight people bought this. Supposedly only one of them was accidental. One can imagine immense frustration of accidentally tapping “buy” on a $1,000 app.
