Any.do is only available on iOS, but it’s a stellar to-do list app for those with iPhones. There’s a free version available, which is great for those on a budget. This app can nudge you when you need to do something you’ve set up, which is great if you’re trying to build new habits.

Best Weight Loss Programs: Get Started Losing Weight Today

Losing weight can be hard. Whether you’ve got a desk job that keeps you on your butt all day or you just find it hard to shed the pounds, maybe you’re looking into a weight loss program. Which ones are right for you, though? There are so many options!

Today we’re looking at some of the top-rated weight loss programs. Remember, nutrition is as much art as science, and everybody is different. What works for other people might not work for you.

    Best Weight Loss Programs

    Weight Watchers

Community is a huge part of Weight Watchers, which holds that it’s easier to make healthy dietary choices when you’re held accountable. Much like working out with a buddy, Weight Watchers offers you the support of a community of like-minded dieters so you can feel like you’re not alone.

The program offers an app that you can access for a fee, which gives you access to various meal plans and “points” values. You can also add weekly meetings, which allow you to feel like you’re a part of a community. The main appeal to Weight Watchers is the straightforward and easy-to-follow dietary guidelines that make nutrition simple.

    MyFitnessPal

A smartphone app that helps you stay on track and in shape, MyFitnessPal is highly recommended. For a  monthly fee, you get access to day-to-day workout and nutrition tips. If you don’t need the community-minded approach of Weight Watchers, MyFitnessPal is a good pick.

You get daily tracking of your fitness and nutritional advice to keep you on track. Those with good discipline but no direction are recommended to try this app out. It’s relatively affordable when compared to options like Noom or Weight Watchers.

    Noom

Noom is a great virtual weight loss app, though it’s on the pricey side. You get access to a lot of resources, such as educational info and nutritional help, that rival the in-person experience of Weight Watchers. Noom is considered a “high-end” weight loss app, and is priced as such.

While you don’t get the in-person meetings of Weight Watchers, phone-only fitness can be a great fit for busy people. As long as the price tag doesn’t scare you off, Noom can be a good fit for a busy lifestyle.

    Final Thoughts

Importantly, remember that skinny doesn’t inherently mean healthy, nor does fat inherently mean unhealthy. The only reason you should want to lose weight is if you feel you’ll be happier at a lower weight. Don’t let societal beauty norms make you engage in behaviors that you find unhealthy or unsustainable.

  • Beau’s App Review: Paper.io 2

    Beau’s App Review: Paper.io 2

Beau’s App series. Each week, I install whatever is the No. 1 bestselling app on the iOS or Android store and review it, to save you the effort in case it’s total waste of life. This week the sequel to paper.io a game called paper.io 2 is in the top spot and we are gonna talk about it. Why isn’t it No. 1? not sure, its a very simple and basic game but it’s free. So let take a look and see what has this game rocketing to the top of the charts.

    The Paper.io 2 Game

The latest twist on multiplayer growth game “Agar.io” has arrived, with “paper.io 2”. It is from French publisher Voodoo. Enter the arena and face the other holes in a fierce battle. You set out a small color round space that you expand by gaining territory and looping it back to your hole. You can eliminate or be eliminated but knocking in to an opponent’s trail or having yours knocked into. The goal is to increase your size and Knock out your opponents for a score boost.

The Final Thought On Paper.io 2

While I have enjoyed the game a lot over the past few days, its addicting as it is frustrating. One thing in particular I think I am enjoying is that you and your opponents don’t all start out at the same time. Everyone is loaded in randomly and rapidly, so as soon as you know someone out someone else is spawning in. I have been working on strategies for about 3 days now. So far I cannot get past 10%, so I tried only hunting down opponents, just circling the perimeter and I tried just building my area with small loops. So far none seem viable. Let me know what you come up with in the comments.

  • Top Apps for Travel Deals

    Top Apps for Travel Deals

Who doesn’t love to travel? Going on a fun adventure far from home is a great way to relax, recharge and energize! It can, however, be quite expensive. If you’re like me, you love traveling, but you also love saving money! With that in mind, today we’re going to try to do a bit of both. Let’s check out the tops apps for travel deals! Adventure awaits!

    Skyscanner

Our first app is Skyscanner, a solid choice for travel deals. The notable functionality of this app is its ability to show you all the best deals on flights based on date and destination. The app will even alert you when better prices on flights become available.

You can schedule your travel around when the tickets will be the least expensive. You can even browse by top deals if you don’t have a destination in mind, seeing which flights from your local airport offer the best value.

    Hopper

Much like Skyscanner, Hopper is an app that helps you find good prices on plane tickets. Unlike Skyscanner, Hopper’s gimmick is sending you push notifications for when to buy tickets.

You can save a ton of money through Hopper if you’re the kind of person who has plane ticket money just laying around. By striking while the iron is hot, you can snag crazy deals. Just be ready to fly (and buy) at some odd hours.

    Hotel Tonight

Hotel Tonight lets you get a hotel room booked in seconds. The app offers some pretty fantastic deals, as it partners with hotels to get their empty rooms sold quickly. Hotels are an odd business, and they’re seeing increased competition from Airbnb.

As such, they’ve started to get a little more creative in how they encourage guests to stay. Using Hotel Tonight, you can snag rooms that were canceled and are otherwise going to go unsold. The hotel would rather sell it, and you’d rather save money, so it’s win-win!

    Airbnb

If you don’t mind the prospect of sleeping in someone else’s house, you can get some pretty great savings through Airbnb. The app offers curated experiences called Trips that allow you to get a more authentic, genuine-feeling experience in your city of choice.

While some have raised concerns over the ethics of apps like Airbnb, it remains one of the best apps for travel deals. It’s hard to pass up some of the savings it offers! Just make sure it’s legal in the city you’re thinking of visiting: many localities have forbidden the divisive app. Safe travels!

  • Beau’s Number 1 App Review: Pokemon Quest

Beau’s Number 1 App Review: Pokemon Quest

Beau’s App series. Each week, I install whatever is the No. 1 bestselling app on the iOS or Android store and review it, to save you the effort in case it’s total waste of life. This week a game called Hole.io is still in the top spot but out of now where Pokemon Quest has jumped to the number 2 spot so today we will look in on the number 2 app.  Why isn’t it No. 1? not sure, its a very simple and basic game but it’s free. So let take a look and see what has this game rocketing to the top of the charts.

    Pokemon Quest

There has been some hype and anticipation following the announcement of the latest game in the Pokespere. The last Pokemon game Go was a spectacle the likes of which we had never seen in the gaming world before. The first vidoe game bubble?

Pokemon Quest is a free-to-play action-adventure game in the Pokémon series developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. Pokémon Quest features a blocky, voxel-style design similar to Minecraft. The game is set in Tumblecube Island, featuring cube-shaped Pokémon called “Pokéxel”. The Pokémon featured in the game are from the original lineup from the Kanto region in Pokémon Red and Blue. In the game, players control the base camp and the pokémon team. The player’s main task is to complete all the levels on the island, beating the wild Pokémon. The game process can be divided into four parts: base camp management, storyline, the Pokémon‘s training and the attraction of a new ones.

Taking a left-turn from their typical animation style, the pokémon in Quest have been transformed into cube versions of themselves and inhabit a brightly colored — also 90-degree angled — terrain called Tumblecube Island. After choosing a pokémon companion to begin your quest, trainers are tasked with exploring the island for hidden treasure

    Getting Started

You start off by selecting your first partner Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, or Eevee. Not sure the effect of your choice will have on the game but i choose Eevee because hes the cutest. you’ll attract new Pokémon to your team by cooking. You can cook by tapping the pot located at the center of your camp and selecting ingredients. The dish you create will determine which Pokémon you’ll attract and how many stages you’ll need to take on before it’s done cooking.

Yes you can evolve Pokémon. All Pokémon that evolve in Pokémon Quest do so by reaching a certain level. There are two different ways to do this. One is by training, which involves sacrificing other Pokémon (don’t worry; they won’t die, they’ll just leave your team) to improve another. Think of it like a support group. Up to four Pokémon can be used to improve another.

The other way is by using Power and Move Stones that you obtain through Expeditions. Each Pokémon has a Power Charm grid, which holds Power and Move Stones. As the Pokémon levels up, more slots open up.

    The Final Thought

Just scratching the surface of this one and there is alot to this game. It is not the average time killing mindless tap app. I realized it is way to in depth for a app review. Im going to dig a little deeper into this game and for all of you Pokemon fans I highly suggest giving it a download. No this wont have the explosion and bubble pop the last Pokemon game had, that was something of legend. This will still be a very popular game and my define 2018 in itself.

  • Looking to Organize? Find Out Our Favorite To-Do App!

Looking to Organize? Find Out Our Favorite To-Do App!

Everyone knows how hard it can be to stay organized during your busy day. Between all the things you have to remember and fighting traffic, simple errands can get left behind pretty easily. How do we recommend you organize your schedule? One way is with a handy to-do app! We love the ones we’ve rounded up here, you just might too! The apps we’ve picked are all available on both Android and iOS!

    Todoist

Available in both premium and free forms, Todoist is a great app for everyday use. This app has a clean interface and great readability. For those who don’t mind paying around $30 a year, the premium version of the app has great functionality. Projects for increasing productivity, labels and the ability to share projects with other users are all pluses for this app.

This app also sports some really cool productivity charts and sharable progress trackers. It doesn’t have quite the same collaborative suite as, say, Asana (I’ll get to that) but it’s certainly cool funcitonality.

    Remember the Milk

A great to-do app for household use, Remember the Milk offers a lot of functionality even in the free app. This app works offline and offers some great collaborative functionality, helping married couples or roommates organize chores and errands. The premium version, that boasts more general functionality, runs around $40 a year. This is a bit pricier than the competition.

This app doesn’t feature location-based reminders, which is a bit of a bummer. It also doesn’t have UI quite as clean or user-friendly as Todoist or Asana. These small gripes don’t hold it back from being a great to-do app, though!

    Our Favorite To-Do App: Asana

If you’re trying to collaborate with a large group to increase productivity, Asana is for you. Featuring a great user interface and some downright awesome collaboration tools, this to-do app earns our spot for favorite. Exceptional for workplace productivity, consider this one if you want to help your office get organized.

While Asana doesn’t sport a desktop app, it makes up for it in its incredible shared functionality. The premium version, which goes for around $12 per month, allows you to access a large suite of functions. Advanced dashboards, search functionality and teams numbering much higher than the base 15-person cap. That all said, Asana is comparatively expensive, and if you want something a bit more affordable we recommend Todoist.

Those small nitpicks aside, Asana is a great app, and we recommend you try out the free version with your team and see if its right for you!

  • The Ten Dumbest Apps Ever

    The Ten Dumbest Apps Ever

Not every app is a winner. Sometimes developers run out of money, time or patience and simply ship an unfinished product. Other times, devs set out to make a tremendously stupid app. In either event, you came here to see mind-numbingly stupid apps, so here goes: our list of the ten dumbest apps ever.

The Little Application That Does Nothing

    01-nothing

This app gets bonus points for doing what it says it does. It actually does nothing. Seriously, it doesn’t do anything. Actively. It’s received updates, for some reason, and still does nothing. I’m actually sort of mad that this exists, but it’s also hilarious, so, that’s alright.

  • Beau’s Number 1 App Reveiw: Love Balls

Beau’s Number 1 App Reveiw: Love Balls

Beau’s App series. Each week, I install whatever is the No. 1 bestselling app on the iOS or Android store and review it, to save you the effort in case it’s total waste of life. This week a game called Love Balls, calm down. Its a game that has you drawing lines to make balls touch and fall in love. Ok that sounds worse when i read it back. Love Balls is in the top spot and Im taking it on. How did it get to No. 1? Because it’s free, because it just came out for phones, and because they advertise this game on all social media networks and all you sheep just download it because you don’t want to be the only ones that didn’t in case its the next Pokemon go or candy crush.

    Hows it Rated

Very Poorly, its a cheap, mind numbingly simple game that helps you time travel through monotonous parts of your day. The game is simple, use your brain and find a way to bump the balls. draw lines or shapes to bump the balls, use minimum amounts of  wisdom and imagination. Yes I played it, 3 and half days dissapeared from my life and I missed the premier of super troopers 2. Not really I was done with this app and review in 20 mins.

    But The Ads

The biggest reason why this game is a waste of life is the ads. Like all free and cheaply designed app games to distract the masses are its packed with 30 seconds of ads for every 15 seconds of game play. They design  the ads to insist on finishing with no option to exit out, and if you leave the game they just pause that ads untile your patients level returns and you open the game again.

    The Final Thought

Just pass, next week app will be better I hope. Also as a side note if you google love balls make sure you also add the word app, just trust me.
