It’s been quite some time since Ford stopped making the Ranger line of trucks. However, there’s a new vehicle bearing the name Ranger coming soon to dealerships. However, this new Ranger isn’t the small, budget truck it once was. Instead, this new incarnation of the vehicle is a beefier, more luxurious vehicle. It’s more in line with an F-150 than its previous incarnation. The good news today is that the 2019 Ford Ranger prices for the various trims has been announced!

2019 Ford Ranger Prices and Trim Levels

Base XL Trim

The Base XL trim starts at $25,395, and for your money you get a lot. Steel wheels, cloth seats, a four-inch infotainment screen, automatic emergency braking and more are standard at this level. However, at this price, it’s pretty clear the Ranger is a truck meant for those who are hard-working and not looking for anything too fancy. The higher trims, however, bring some serious luxury to the table.

XLT Trim

A step up from XL, XLT starts at $29,035. The XLT trim ditches the XL’s steel wheels for alloy wheels, nets you fog lights and more speakers. You also get CoPilot 360, which is Ford’ safety software. It packs features like lane maintaining, automatic high beams and blind-spot alerts.

Lariat Trim

If you were looking for a truly luxurious trim, you’re looking for Lariat. The price kicks up to $33,305 for this level, but you get what you pay for. The touchscreen is bumped up to 8 inches, you get keyless entry and LED headlights and more. Oh, did we mention the leather bucket seats? Yeah, this one has leather bucket seats.

Other Options

If you’re a fan of the Ranger but looking for more room for passengers, you can upgrade to a crew cab. However, crew cabs shorten the truck’s bed to five feet from six, so you pay for it in cargo space. However, it nets you an extra row of seats, which is great for getting all the guys to the site. All trim levels come with RWD, but you can upgrade to AWD for an extra four thousand bucks. If you plan on off-roading, this is a must-have upgrade.

Preorders for the 2019 Ford Ranger are up now. If you’re amped up and dying to throw down some cash, you can preorder yours now.
