    Smartphone Spotlight: Galaxy Note 9

The 128GB Galaxy Note 9 can be purchased through carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless and Xfinity, along with Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Straight Talk Wireless, Target, Walmart, Samsung.com and the ShopSamsung app.

    The Great

    • Slamtastic Screen
    • Instalike worthy camera
    • Adequate long battery
    • Interesting new S-Pen tricks
    • All the Specs needed

    The Conclusion

The Galaxy Note 9 is Samsung’s Ultimate cry for tech geek attention. It has all the specs, a gigantic, magnificent, Fortnite worthy screen, a Bluetooth-powered S Pen, and a headphone jack… you know just all the essentials on the checklist for the kind of Android user that Samsung is targeting with a Note update. It’s a Phablets lover’s dream come true!

I’m sure we all remember the note 7 scandle, but that is all history for the Galaxy Note brand. That was two years ago, this is the Note 9 we are talking about today.

Galaxy Note 9 puts powerful technology in the hands of the tech geeks and gamers who demand more powerful and more screen from their smartphones. It certainly boast Innovative features and design make it the only phone to keep up with the next generation of users. Yes the rumors we have been telling you are true. Packed with a huge battery, a massive screen, and a powerful stylus, the Note 9 has more of everything than any other phone on the US market.

How does it look and feel

It’s large, I mean this phone is obscenely large. And when you put it in a case, it will become a liability. This is not a one-handed phone for any but the largest hands. Samsung moved the fingerprint sensor so no longer will the Note 9 fit into Note 8 case. On the bright side no more inadvertently smudging the camera lens.

The Galaxy Note 9 has a 6.4-inch quad HD Super AMOLED curved screen, and USB-C and standard headphone jacks, it is IP68 Waterproof. We have been through this, the checklist of required wants and needs are covered. Not only that but it is stunning, think Charlene Theron on the red carpet elegant.

No 5g on The Galaxy Note 9

We have talked about 5G coming next year, Don’t get hung up on that; it will be another year before 5G is widespread and before chipset makers work out the power-management kinks that come with new wireless data systems. Yes write that down you are hearing it here first. Next year’s Note 10 will be 5G. Wanna wait that long? Anyways, The existing X20 modem get speeds up to 700Mbps with the right carrier setup, showing there’s still plenty of room in 4G. That’ll do, That’ll do just fine.

    Sounds and Stuff

The Note 9 brings the S9+’s dual speakers to the Note line. The two speakers are by the earpiece, and along the bottom. Compared to the previous Note 8’s single bottom speaker, the speakers here aren’t much louder but clarity and treble are off the charts. Outside of the iPhone X I don’t think I have heard a better device speaker.

    The Biggest Difference

The Galaxy Note 9’s biggest upgrade is its enhanced and gargantuan 4,000mAh battery hit it with a 10-hour battery test video. Yes you know the one where I leave it on the10 hour loop of He-Man singing 4 non blondes “what’s going on”. Results, 13% left, astounding. This leads me into projecting screen-on battery life out to 12 and half hours. That Destroys all other flagship smartphone on the market. The battery is significantly larger than the one in the Galaxy S9+ (3,500mAh, 10+ hours), the Galaxy Note 8 (3,300mAh, 6 hours), or the Galaxy Note 5 (3,020mAh, 8 hours and 30 minutes).

    Quick Speck Look

    • Graphics Mali-G72 MP18
    • Processor Octa core (2.7 GHz, Quad core, M3 Mongoose + 1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A55)
    • Architecture 64 bit
    • Ram 6 GB
    • Audio Features Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus
    • Display Type Super AMOLED
    • Aspect Ratio 18.5:9
    • Screen Size 6.4 inches (16.26 cm)
    • Screen Resolution 1440 x 2960 pixel

    The Final Thought

If this thing doesn’t explode in our face we have a monster here. The screen alone will improve your Fortnite results instantly giving you an unfair advantage over any other player on a regular smartphone. It’s the battery though, it’s just too good to be true. Add in their shaky past and it’s something to be weary off.

  • iPhone X vs Galaxy S9 Plus

It seems like smartphones are always improving and new versions are constantly coming out.

    [iFrameGen iframe_type=”Y_iFrame” template_key=”adlist_gfg_green_v7_070102018″ keyword=”new%20samsung%20galaxy%20phones” type_tag=”_gfg-20180808-iphonex-vs-galaxys9-green-top” placement=”_pc1″]

There are so many options out there and it can be hard to decide on which one is really the best. Below is a comparison of the two most popular smartphone brand’s latest and greatest, Apple iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.

    Apple iPhone X: $999+

iPhone is always a top pick when it comes to smartphones. The latest version is a creation to celebrate iPhone’s tenth anniversary. It is almost a whole new phone, not to mention the most expensive phone  ever on the market to date. The major difference everyone is intrigued about in this exclusive new phone, is that Apple has taken away the home button and switched to a face identification feature. Rather than a touch identification to unlock your iPhone, this phone will use a 3D face map to identify you and unlock your phone.

A few more things to note about this phone:

    • The front and back are glass- so you will definitely want to invest in a protective case.
    • This iPhone supports wireless charging.
    • Like all previous iPhones, the iPhone X also comes with a single nano-SIM card slot.
    • The camera placement is vertical rather than horizontal. Both camera sensors get optical image stabilization.
    • There is not a headphone jack, so wireless headphones or an adaptor would be needed.
    [iFrameGen iframe_type=”Y_iFrame_2″ template_key=”adlist_gfg_green_v7_070102018″ keyword=”samsung%20galaxy%20s9″ type_tag=”_gfg-20180808-iphonex-vs-galaxys9-green-center” placement=”_pc2″]

    Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus: $839.99+

Another popular choice when it comes to choosing a smartphone, the Galaxy S9 Plus has some great updates. It is pretty similar to last year’s S8 Plus…but the main improvements are the cameras and the large screen. The camera take quality photos thanks to the low-light and noise-defeating powers that take this smartphone to the next level. Not only is the new screen bigger, the curved display now takes up 90% of the front of the phone.

A few more things to note about this phone:

    • The fingerprint sensor has been better-placed and now is aligned in the center on the back of the phone.
    • Wireless charging is an option with this glass phone.
    • This phone features face unlock and iris scanning.
    • Lack of a headphone jack is not an issue with this phone, plug them in!
    • The stereo speakers on this phone are outstanding and loud.
    [iFrameGen iframe_type=”Y_iFrame_3″ template_key=”adlist_gfg_green_v7_070102018″ keyword=”buy%20iphone%20x” type_tag=”_gfg-20180808-iphonex-vs-galaxys9-green-bottom” placement=”_pc3″]

    The Bottom Line

It all boils down to pricing and preference seeing as both phones have very similar new features. Both phones have a facial identification feature, wireless charging is an option, outstanding cameras and loud, quality speakers. The main differences are the iPhone no longer has a touch identification and you are not able to plug in your headphones directly to the phone. Whichever phone you choose, you’ll be sure to love your new smartphone!

  • 3 Cool Updates From Samsungs Television

3 Cool Updates From Samsungs Television

    1. Translucent Ambient Televisions

For years, Samsung has been trying to make TVs look pretty even when you’re not watching TV. The company just announced the latest lineup of its flagship QLED TVs with an all-new feature called Ambient Mode. Basically, thanks to some hardware trickery, Ambient Mode can replicate the texture on the wall behind your TV and almost make it disappear. It’s sort of like an invisibility cloak for your TV.

The demo of this new feature worked well, blending it perfectly with the brick wall behind it. I am super excited to blend a TV in to my living room wall. It would be perfect, until you see a bunch of wires hanging from some random bricks in my fireplace.  that leads us to number 2

2.A New Single Translucent Cable Wire

If i have a tv the can be translucent mounted to my wall but the tangle of cords jutting out of the back of the TV, pushing it away from the wall and then dangling down to wherever the cable box, PS4, and Wii U reside, is ugly and pointless. So Samsung did something that strikes you, innately, as both backward and forward thing—it moved all the ports of the TV.

On the 2017 Q9 TV from Samsung they have managed to pack 6 input ports in to a minuscule cord. The Cord is translucent, making it less visible against a bare wall. It will connect to a unit like Samsung’s current One Connect Box, which includes USB 3.0, coax, and multiple HDMI ports. THis seems like the answer to the translucent TV cord issue..

    3. The Wall, Summer

MicroLED is a technology that shrinks traditional LEDs to a smaller size, and gives them the ability to produce their own light. Think OLED, but take out the organic part. MicroLED doesn’t require a discrete backlight, and there’s no need for LCD shutters. In turn, this creates a brighter, more contrast-rich television that can turn pixels off individually. This has brought us the next level of cool from Samsung… The Wall.

Yes, yes we have all seen from the unveiling at the CES 2018 in Jan.. so tell me something I don’t know. Samsung’s the Wall is the next big thing. It seemed to be just a concept with actual production and availability in the distant future. Even Samsung said “we are still years away, their next step is a 2-5 year plan for a 75 inch MicroLED set”. With a big announcement today, we have an answer.. August.

We will see the Wall available to consumers August 2018. Given the customization nature of The Wall and the technology it uses, chances are it won’t be cheap when it does come out this summer. I am still guessing 10k.

  • 5 Things We Found Out About the Galaxy S9

5 Things We Found Out About the Galaxy S9

Think you know everything about the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+?  We have been posting, researching, speculating on the next big thing in the android world for a year now. Finally it has be unveiled, and we were mostly correct but here are 5 unsuspected things we were surprised to learn about the S9

1.The bezels are thinner then the S8, but the phone is more durable

The top bezel lands at 8.21mm with a 0.39mm reduction, while the bottom bezel measures in at 6.99mm. Impressively, that’s a reduction of 1.01mm. In both cases, the reduction in bezels actually brings the size of the device down by 1.2mm and 1.4mm on the S9 and S9+ respectively. Samsung has made the S9 more durable compared to its predecessor. In short, this comes as the result of using a different type of aluminum.

    2. The camera is quieter and does much better in low light

I was blown away by how well the S9+ performed in dim conditions, because the variable aperture on the Galaxy S9 and S9+ goes as wide as f/1.5. Samsung says that its new flagships let in 28 percent more light. With the support of a  wider aperture, f/1.7,  that kicks in when the ambient light is 100 Lux or below.  100 Lux is the light you’ll see on overcast day or in most office settings.  At the same time, Samsung added dedicated memory to its camera in order to reduce noise.

    3. Dedicated Fingerprint

This is a new feature for this year’s flagship phones and is for the Secure Folder element. This folder is a compartment for files and apps that you want to keep separate from the rest of the phone. It uses your Samsung account and you can access it using the same security protocol, fingerprint, passcode, iris recognition etc as you do to unlock your phone. Once you’ve moved files to the Secure Folder, nobody can see them without your passcode, fingerprint or whatever.

    4. We Get to Keep the Headphone Jack

The S9 and S9 Plus have retained their headphone jacks, unlike other phones in the class, including the iPhone X, 8, and 8 Plus, Pixel 2 XL, or the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. That’s a blessing for audiophiles who just aren’t satisfied with the current state of wireless audio and for people who even have a designated pouch for their dongles but still lose them. Admit it dongles are tiny and easy to misplace.

    5. That Sound Really Bumps

Dual stereo speakers to the device for the first time . The S9 finally  have Dolby’s surround-sound Atmos technology built-in.  Samsung created a device that offers premium sound experiences with stereo speakers tuned by AKG. Whether users are watching their favorite movie or streaming their favorite artist’s latest album, sounds are clear, crisp and rich in quality.

  • Easy Smarthome Devices to Increase Your Homes Value

Easy Smarthome Devices to Increase Your Homes Value

From smart thermostats to automated lighting and everything in between, there’s no question that innovative, Internet-enabled technology can make a home more fun, convenient and safe. What you may not know, however, is that it also represents a potentially valuable investment. Im going to take a$7000 investment to smart home upgrade to increase my homes value by $25000. Lets look at how I spent it and what value it brings.

    Appliances

I started with replacing the refrigerator and stove, with smart appliances.

for a combined $4300 I installed the Samsung Family Hub 2.0 wifi enabled fridge and  the Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range both in stainless steel of course. considering I was going to have to spend $2000 anyway on these appliance the extra money to purchase the smart appliance is well worth it for the wow factor alone.

    Samsung Family Hub 2.0 Refrigerator

The Samsung Smart Fridge is really cool, looks great, creates shopping lists and lets me see inside from anywhere with 3 built-in cameras. It  also set expiration notifications to make sure everything is fresh. Plus it has Bixby built in for a digital voice assistant right in the kitchen, I’ve always wanted to talk to my refrigerator.

Samsung Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range

The stove looks like something you would see in a professionals kitchen, its no joke.  There are cooking options with the intuitive guiding light controls. This lets you program your favorite recipes, plus easily control temperature and  time settings. Wi-Fi connection gives you real-time alerts and control the cooktop and oven remotely. You just have to  download the app for iOS or Android devices.

I was able to get both devices with a bundle package at best buy, factoring the money I was going to spend anyways im only out ($2130)

    Lighting

Next step set the mood, for 3 main light switched I installed the Brilliant Smart Panel. With the digital touch screen or simple verbal commands, this switch can control your homes lights, air conditioning, intercom system, video surveillance, music and has a built in camera and even the ability to make video calls.

I replaced all light bulbs with Phillips Hue Smart Lighting, this will allow the lights to be controlled from the 3 smart-panels, with the color bulbs setting different lighting and the colored light strips in the kitchen.

This has added a great wow factor, adding in the Sonos speakers already through out the house. I can set music and lighting with just a shout. ($1000)

    Little Things

The Smart Panel for Brilliant can control a lot of smart devices, so I upgrade my thermostat to the Nest, a Smart lock from August, Skydrop 8-Zone Smart Sprinkler Controller, Smart Security Video system from Nest with a video doorbell and an Amazon Eco Show for Alexa integration with all the new devices. ($1500)

    Bathrooms

This home has 2 bathrooms so I’ve updated both toilets to the Smart 1 Piece by OVE. Little expensive, but a heated seat, warm bidet water, and air drying features are a big sell for small price. This looks great and comes with a remote control. You can adjust the power and temperature right from your remote.

I also updated the 2 shower-heads and added the Moen U Shower Smart Home Connected Bathroom Controller. The Moen U integrates smart temperature control, timers and also an app. You can even pre-time your morning shower, walk yourself to the bathroom and it turns on automatically as soon as it senses your presence!

I have effectively updated my home and prepped it for sale. With these little upgrade I have moved my home from the bottom end of its appraisal to the top by making it a cutting edge smart-home and increasing my value and netting me an extra $18, 000 after the sale.

  • Samsung Gear 3 is Still Just a Timepiece

Samsung Gear 3 is Still Just a Timepiece

Samsung’s Gear 3 is a boldly designed smartwatch that’s ready for anything and tailored to you. There are two versions with sleep tracking ,multi-day battery life all day calorie tracking , and Samsung Pay it has all the functions and Android smartphone one could hope for.

    The Great

    • Big Bold Design
    • Always-on display
    • Decent Activity Tracking
    • Built-in LTE
    • Samsung Pay
    • OLED display is bright and crisp

    The Not

    • Poor Gps tracking
    • Lacking compatible app
    • Missing intuitive functions

    The Conclusion

This is an average looking watch and a lack luster smartwatch. While Samsung tried to squeeze a lot into the new Gear S3 its really just not enough.

    More Gear from Samsung

For the Gear S3, Samsung has decided to offer up two designs. There’s the more rugged Frontier for outdoor types, and the Classic, which aims to be the more luxurious option of the two. Both still run on Samsung’s own Tizen operating system and that rotating bezel makes a welcome return. It can be pair with all samsung and most android smartphones, even and iPhone with reduced functionality. With the LTE model of the Gear S3, you can leave your phone behind and still have complete functionality on the watch. Note: LTE is only avilable on the Frontier model.  The call quality is surprisingly decent if you turn the volume up to the highest level. It’s still weird talking to someone on your watch, but it can be handy sometimes. You can also use it to listen to music, but get some Bluetooth headphones, its not enjoyable from the watch speaker

    Not for the Weak Wristed

the Gear S3 is a big smartwatch, its a heavy watch, and its beastly.  Its hulking 46mm frame makes it most certainly a more mans man’s watch. It’s also noticeably heavier and thicker as well, probably to house the additional sensors and a larger battery. The Frontier rocks a more  rugged look, with a knurled, rotating bezel, a chunky stainless-steel body design and IP68 certified water resistant.

    The Interface

The Gear S3 runs Tizen, it’s very easily laid out to make the most functionality of the spinning bezel. The highlight that makes the Gear smartwatches unique is the innovative rotating bezel. Crank it clockwise and you’ll get all of your notifications in one place. Spin it the opposite direction to breeze through the widgets you’ve added. The default set up includes thee current weather, favorite contacts, calories burned and what’s up on your calendar. Sadly that is all there is to the Gear S3’s interface.

The Apps or Lack of Apps

According to Samsung, there’s something like 10,000 apps in the Tizen Store, but just a fraction of those are tuned for the Gear’s small display.  Whats worse it that most of them are not wort using to begin with. Its as if no developers consider creating apps with Tizen in mind.

    The Final Thought

All in all the Gear doesn’t excite me as much as I’d have hoped. Though it has a very intuitive interface, complete with a rotating bezel for navigation, many parts of the experience still need more engineering attention, whether that’s the dreadfully useless selection of apps or the irritatingly malfunctions of  S Voice digital assistant. In the p rophetic words of american Idols Randy Jackson, This is gonna be a hard no for me dawg.

  • Smartphone Spotlight: Samsung Galaxy S8

    Smartphone Spotlight: Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung Galaxy S8 has the cutting-edge features you need to do the things you love faster, easier and better. An eye catching, 5.8″ inch curved display goes all the way to the edge, so you can see more. The 12MP camera and advanced processor takes sharp, clear photos faster. The Galaxy S8 comes in 64GB. Available in Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver or Midnight Black

    The Great

    • LTE Advanced
    • MSM8998 Octa-Core, 2.35 GHz (Quad) + 1.9GHz (Quad
    • Experience HD Voice
    • Flash: 64GB RAM: 4GB
    • 12MP rear, 8pm front camera

    The Not

    • Lacks dual cameras for optical zoom
    • Questionable sound quality
    • Odd Fingerprint reader placement

    The Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a fantastic phone because of its captivating infinity display, very strong performance, long battery life and great cameras. Absolutely in love with this phone. It took longer than I’d like for the fast charge. and I miss an actual home button, but not too much

We all know Samsung’s new flagship phones forge a beautiful new path for smartphone design by stripping away unsightly bezels with their respective 5.8-inch infinity displays, and this is the first handsets to boast Qualcomm’s monstrous Snapdragon 835 for speedy performance. All the spec and power are here. The quality is top notch. This phone is beautiful and sleek handles 4k @ 60 FPS extreamly well. Throwing the expandable memory feature back in is great.

    Introducing Bixby

So for the Galaxy S8, Samsung made an effort to do something different. It combined everything it did in the past few generations of its phones and added some new ideas to produce something different from everything else on the shelf of the average phone store today. What we got was Bixby.  Samsung’s Bixby is a personal assistant answer to Alexa and Siri. You have a few different options to open Bixby. On the left side of any of the compatible phones, just below the volume buttons, is a dedicated Bixby button. A quick press of the button will launch Bixby, a long-press opens Bixby Home. The third method to access Bixby is through the camera app.

With a swipe to the right from the home screen, a stream of information ranging from smart reminders for tasks you commonly carry out on your phone, to news and weather are displayed. Third-party apps such as Facebook or Uber can also display cards in Bixby Home. It also as expected has voice commands. When using your voice to interact with Bixby, it will accept commands such as, “Set screen brightness to 37 percent” or, “Show photos I took in Savannah.”You can also summon Bixby using your voice, with the wake word of “Hey Bixby,” obviously. The Coolest part of Bixby is being able to identify and search for thing by looking at them using the camera app.

    Thanks for nothing Bixby

Trying to use Bixby Voice to do things on your phone is not any faster or easier than just tapping the screen the usual way. It takes a second or two to launcg  Bixby Voice. I’ve tried both the press and hold the Bixby button to activate listening mode and  the “Hey Bixby”.  Now by the time it hears what I’m saying that I could have performed the task three times by the time it has processed what I said and performed my action. If and its a big IF it gets it right. In short if i want something done right ill just have to do it my self. Thanks for nothing Bixby

    The Final Thought

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a fantastic phone because of its memorizing infinity display, powerful performance, endless battery life and astonishing cameras. While Im not a fan of the fingerprint sensor’s location the rest of the phone is on point and the standard for which all other androids are measured and found wanting.

  • Smartphone Spotlight: Samsung Note 8

    Smartphone Spotlight: Samsung Note 8

The Samsung Note 8 is the largest and most power full smartphone in the Android field. Boasting a 6.3 screen with laptop power specks. Plus you get a cool pen

    • 6.3″ Quad HD Super AMOLED
    • Qualcomm Octa-Core 2.35 GHz (Quad) + 1.9 GHz (Quad)
    • 3,300 mAH, Non-removable
    • 12MP dual pixel OIS main camera
    • 6gb RAM
    • Note8 S Pen – Black
    • 33 hour fast charging battery

    The Not

    • Previous models have exploded
    • Two handed Device
    • No Upgrade to Oreo yet

    The Conclusion

This phone is everything a smartphone should be and so much more. The speakers are insane, the screen is beautiful, power galore, Its everything an Android can be. As long as it doesn’t randomly explode and competition is always just a month away.

    On Another Note

Due to the Note 7 randomly exploding in many peoples hands, on airplanes, in pockets the best Note you could buy was the Note 5. You could try any number of the other “phalblet” androids on the market but they were just large low quality screens on a weak phone. The Note 8 rewrites the script, it is no longer the niche phone only supplied on demand it is the go to android for those that care. Lets Look at some of the highlights on this mambojambo.

    Power +

Samsung popped 6gb of ram in, that is the most we have seen in a smartphone by far. The iphone x is only packing 3gb for comparison. Power users will absolutely benefit from the 6GB of RAM. The Note 8  also has loads and loads of processing power with the Snapdragon 835. This is one very  fast chip however The Exynos chip is faster. In the Uk Models you can get the Samsung Exynos chip.  This may be the move for all you Tim the ToolMan Taylors of the Android world.

    Return of the S pen

there is a cool attachable stylus, with the Note 8’s larger 6.3-inch ‘Infinity Display’ you need it. The Note 8 acts like a big bevel-less glass poster-board for all you handwritten notes and masterpiece sketches. The S pen makes it very easy to craft documents, sign PDF’s and draw on your screenshots. Add in superb Note-taking  and it expands with convenient off-screen memos. Mastering and using the S Pen will ensure Note 8 users get their moneys worth.

    Display and Camera

Both the display and camera is of the finest quality avilable in todays market. This is the first android to support a dual camera. With Two 12MP cameras with optical image stabilization it captures crisp, beautiful photos, with a  terrific new bokeh (background blur) effect. Having two rear cameras makes a world of difference for bokeh-rich ‘Live Focus’ photos. The Note 8 has a fully comprehensive, robust and capable camera and photo interface, you are going to love it.  Comprise that with its 6.3-inch ‘Infinity Display’ the Note 8 intimately modifies its look and feel. Despite the added .8 inches to the screen its only .9 mm taller then the previous models. More big in a smaller package.

    The Final Thought

It has the power. It has the camera, Its got a cool pen. Its battery is safe and everlasting. Its got the perfect screen. Its everything I would put in to the smartphone I imagined. Its still and android even though  It makes quite an appearance. Let’s just hope it sticks around this time.

  • Samsung’s 4K Ultra TV is Easy on the Eyes

Samsung’s 4K Ultra TV is Easy on the Eyes

    The Good

    • Vivid colors, and excellent blacks.
    • Quick 120 Hertz refresh rate

    The Conclusion

This is very well built and sturdy television. The thin metal bezzle is a welcomed improvement from the all plastic ones in Samsung’s prior LED TVs. The 65” model is large , but fairly lightweight and easy to wall mount. The 4K resolution is very impressive and the darks are very dark. It’s a pleasure to watch TV on this Samsung, but the cost is high and there are other cheaper and still high quality options out there.

    4K Resolution

The incredible detail of the 4K resolution is amazing. With vibrant colors and deep blacks, it looks like the images were painted on the screen. With the 120 frame rate, it’s just simply a joy to watch a 4K movie such as Wonder Woman, on it. In terms of the TV’s remote, the Samsung remote is really nice and the voice control is a great addition. It’s a simple remote that liken to the Amazon FireTV voice remote. The toggle channel/volume buttons take some getting used to, but it’s a short learning curve. The TV’s set up is pretty straight forward and it easily detect gaming systems, such as Xbox One and PS4 as well as the Apple TV. The Cost can be steep considering the price tag for a 55 inch is around the $1,500.00 mark. There may be some better options for the price out there.
