Bone conduction allows you to hear sound through the vibration of the bones of your face, jaw bones, and cheek bones. This means that the sound waves are bypassing the outer and middle ear and directly stimulating the inner ear (hearing organ). Bone conduction technology has been around for many years as a tool to help those with hearing loss. Beethoven, who was hearing impaired, used bone conduction to listen to music by biting down on his composer’s wand that was touching the piano. I’ll bet you didn’t know that. While this technology has been around for quite a while, even making its way to hearing aids. The Final Thought
Im very surprised and It doesn’t seem sensible that audio traveling through your bones instead of your ears could be so finely tuned. It dosent seem like I am hearing them its more like a stereo in my head. Only way to describe it is its like an over track in a movie. While some headphones have better sound I don’t know if I could ever go back to regular hearing headphones.
